Vinyasa Yoga & Meditation: The class begins with breathing practices and meditation, then moves to simple stretches, flowing standing sequences, sun salutes, and static poses.The cool down consists of floor exercises, kneeling, seated, and lying.
Gentle Therapeutic Yoga: A class designed for beginners, people returning to yoga after a long break, or those with specific needs such as mild arthritis or recovering from injury.
Strengthen & Stretch: This class combines exercises from both Yoga and Pilates for a total toning of the body. The emphasis is on strengthening postural muscles to prevent and ease back problems.
Classic meditation is something you can do on your own by watching the mind or breath. Before you get to that stage it is helpful to have various techniques to help you along the way. As incorporating the teachings of yoga into your life is an additional way for you to find peace of mind, I plan to combine some of the basic teachings with guided meditations.
